Hello guys! Finals Week is over and I’m just wrapping up everything to enjoy the Christmas season properly and peacefully. I’ve also been making a list of places I want to travel to and experience after I graduate from college (hopefully in about a year if I can get everything done…).
Anyway, I’ve had plenty of time to use other beauty products and because of this, I have another product review for you! Yes, it’s another one from Shea Moisture. *cue groans, sighs and throwing up of hands*
This here is the Coconut & Hibiscus Foaming Milk and Body Wash and it can be found at Target, Ulta Beauty, select Walgreens stores and Wal-Mart if you’re lucky. The price range is around $8.99 – $9.99.
Again, there’s nothing really special about why I purchased this. I ran out of bath soak/bubble bath and after reading good reviews about this product, I decided to head to Target and purchase this for occasional baths.
Plus, I got a heads-up from a random customer on how good the product was for her. So bonus points for the product!
I used it a couple of times as a body wash and as a bubble bath, so I will try to mention both sides in my review.
As a body wash, this is really good! It lathers up very quickly, especially with a shower pouf. The smell is pretty much what you would expect: a delicious tropical paradise of fruit and coconuts! The moisture factor is not as super, but that’s probably because it doesn’t have shea butter in it. I recommend showering in warm water to get the best results.
On terms of it being a bubble bath/foaming milk, it works very well. But I kind of expected the bubbles to last longer in the warm bath water. But it’s probably due to the fact that this product is sulfate-free, so don’t expect this to turn your bathtub into a bubbling cauldron. But expect this to leave your skin moisturized, deliciously scented and somewhat soft. Again, I recommend bathing in warm water for the best results.
That’s all I can say about this product. I might not purchase this again because I want to try out the other three formations that caught my eye the last time I visited Target: Olive/Green Tea, Raw Shea Butter and African Black Soap. If you’ve tried it before, how did it work for you? Let me know!
Until next time, readers!
