Review | Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Buttermilk Soap

Welcome back! I hope everyone had a grand Memorial Day yesterday and I hope you all had the opportunity to give thanks to the people who served as well as fill your bellies with great food!

I’ve managed to do all of that and still have a product review for you! This will be on a product from Burt’s Bees, a brand that I started with when I wanted more natural products for my body.

This is the Baby Bee Buttermilk Soap and it can be found at Publix (and possibly Bed, Bath & Beyond) for a little less than $4.99. It comes as a cute 3.5 oz sphere of soap.

I bought this because I’ve been taking a break from luxurious, cold-processed soaps and wanted to search for unscented, gentle drugstore brands of soap. Plus, I don’t have much money right now, so I put myself on a strict spending budget.

I’m nearly done using this bar and I absolutely LOVE this soap! It has a lovely fragrance; it reminds me of baby powder with a hint of honey mixed in. The lather is really bubbly and not difficult to work up either. Just remember to use warm water when showering or bathing.

Did I mention that it contains both oat kernel flour and buttermilk powder for sensitive skin? Both ingredients allow this soap to be SUPER gentle on my skin and I find that it’s good enough to be used on my face too! My face and body skin are left somewhat moisturized with hardly any dryness and none of those little red bumps that would appear on my legs!

My only complaint is that the bar needs to be bigger. At 3.5 oz, it’s just not enough for me and I can go through it pretty fast. I want more of it! It just isn’t enough!

This is a fantastic soap and possibly one of my favorite drugstore soaps so far! If you have dry, sensitive, aging skin or if you have any children, try this soap! You won’t regret it!

That’s all I have for now. Until next time, everyone!
